HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can perhaps buy precious time to get themselves to a phone and dial 911. stop reposting art. you're not crediting it and half of it is stuff from tumblr. delete the photosets.

Do you know how much effort I would have to put in to credit every individual artist on the tiny screen of my iPhone? It’s not like I’m selling things. The only benefit I get is I get to see pictures I like on my blog and maybe a follower or two. It’s not like I’m well known or anything. If you can convince me I’m actually hurting someone, please do. I don’t mind being told I’m wrong, but I will defend myself until I’m given enough proof to believe that I’m wrong.

Also like I hope this doesn’t offend you. (I’m bad at people skills, I’m sorry) but maybe if artists took more pride in their work and signed it the wouldn’t even have to ask for credit coz it would be gotten by themselves instead of relying on other people to give it to them. That um… Sounds really lazy… Wanting credit but not just getting it yourself.

No! This is unacceptable. You do not source the majority of the art that you post on your blog. This is like taking credit for a project you did at school or work and not even doing a lick of the work. To correctly source the work, actually place a link to the original artists homepage underneath the art you post. In fact, if all you want to do is to post Steven Universe fanart on your page, just reblog it from the original artist themselves!!! its really simple. Just please, please, if you are going to post art that is not yours, SOURCE THE WORK.

Always credit the artist. I was oblivious to how art could be unsourced and reposted elsewhere. My “Prince in a tree/Get up and find him” comic was presumably safe under my tag here without signature (early tumblr days), but I was naive. It went viral even to other websites and now so many people don’t know it’s mine because I thought my tag here in tumblr would be enough.

Artists, always sign your work.

EVERYONE, don’t post work that’s not yours without permission, and don’t post/reblog unsourced work.

It doesn’t matter how much you like it; it’s far more flattering to be recognized as the person who made it rather than just “hey look at this cool thing” and have a huge disconnect.

Tangled comparisons - concept art to the final film.

why the fuck is the concept art so much better

Actually they were going to do crazy cool animation that would make the film a “living oil painting” but it just proved to be too expensive to mass produce
